The BEST protein bar ever created
5Honestly, the BEST protein bar ever created: very good macronutrient profile, super tasty and interesting texture, not artificially sweet and sickly (like the new ones and other leading competitors). I have tried all the flavours in my time but dark chocolate and sea salt was my favourite. Such a shame MyProtein have 'updated the recipe', which really didn't need an upgrade, and if I'm honest, has lead to a far inferior product with higher fat/carb content, poor texture and sickly sweet flavour. I've read other reviews which corroborate with my opinion, I hope MyProtein take this into consideration and bring back THE Carb Crusher.

Stawberry cheesecake - Not great. Better options
2The strawberry cake flavour is super chewy (jaw was numb after having one), the flavour isn't great and the strawberry cheesecake filling doesn't go with the chocolate around the bar. The strawberry cheesecake filling isn't great either - quite a sharp strawberry taste (in a bad way) but none of that tangy cheesecake flavour you'd hope for. Would look for another flavour. Good macros though!Goes Well With:A hella strong jaw

Tasty!
4I'm really picky with my protein and my bars, so I always worry when trying new ones! This bar is yummy, the flavours work really well and it's not too chewy. I'd recommend to anyone!

5I loved these bars!! I was a bit scared to get another stodgy tasteless bar but these are so good! Already repurchased.

5Brilliant way of getting protein in and feeling like you’re having a bit of a treat without the heavy carb side. Good snack to have and quick fix for a sweet tooth

Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt
5Best protein bar ever made! Taste: it tastes a bit like a double decker. I normally eat a bar in under a minute and scream internally when I realise I shouldn’t have another. Effectiveness: 1. I feel an energy boost along with the protein, making it the perfect pre-workout snack. 2. I feel a mental boost. Yep, that’s right. It puts me in a better mood and helps me think on a deeper level when working. Perhaps it’s all the vitamins+minerals but whatever it is, it is truly effective. It even helps if you have a writing block, maybe I should eat another one now before I finish the review... nah it’s 2am I’ll leave it. Back to the subject, it’s in fact the perfect breakfast snack to wake you up to, even if you don’t work out directly after having it, due to how it mentally boosts you (in my experience). I have never tried the questionable looking strawberry flavour although I wouldn’t be surprise if that wasn’t good too. I can’t wait for more dark chocolate and sea salt bars to get back in stock, otherwise you’ll hear a grown man crying... well you won’t hear me but you get the picture.Goes Well With:A glass of water + mastery of willpower in order to stop yourself having a second bar.

5The dark chocolate bars are delicious and feel like a real treat, I really hope they don't discontinue them in place of the other horrible carb crusher bars they are selling. Goes Well With:Coffee
