It helped me lift more

I have been working out for 12 months consistently. Along with lifting weights I have been hitting my macros and calorie goals on a daily basis as well. My goal was to reduce body fat and increase muscle. The main reason I have decided to take beta alanine was to reduce the soreness in the muscles after a workout(leg day probably the most). After taking the recommended doseage daily (as on the packaging) I have noticed after 2 weeks improvement in the muscle soreness and not only this but also being able to do extra reps sometimes even an extra exercise in my workout routine. Now at 4 weeks with beta alanine I have definitely been able to lift a little more each time and train a little more frequently. The progress was bigger than usual for such timescale. I havent changed anything else in my lifestyle meanwhile or in my nutrition. I understand it may work differently for each person but for me it definitely helped with progressive overload and I can tell also by seeing my body improvements along the lifted weight recorded

It has no flavour. Very little amount for a single dosage. I personally add it to a protein shake.

Tingling Feeling

Have been using this for around 4 weeks and am beginning to feel a difference. The first few times I took it caused an uncomfortable tingling sensation in my skin, so perhaps it’s worth taking very small amounts to start.

Best supplement

Everyone mentions creatine for everyday supplements. But this is just as important for performance. Start taking 3 of this daily and you'll notice the difference.

Any drink. Just don't put in your pre workout if that already has beta.

Does exactly what is says on the tin (or packet)...

Beta-alanine, an amino acid... by design, it will never taste overly nice in its raw form so disregard any negative remarks from other reviers on taste - just expect it. As for its function and how it benefits training, it deserves full marks. Taken for its role as a precursor to carnosine, BA will improve athletic performance in relatively notable amount, most importantly, endurance and ability to perform 'bursts' of activity. Dosing advice; take pre-workout (30min) along with Creatine, in a drink (not protein shake, this will make it taste grotty). This is a slow-burner, best taken over an extended period to see best effects. Fortunately, when raising carnosine levels via BA, the cumulative effect is relatively long-lived i.e. it takes a long time for carnosine levels to deplete/return to baseline so taking occassional breaks from BA supplementation won't impact its effectiveness (if you've been using it for a while). Overall, a brilliant OTC supplement with no serious side effects and one of the very few powders worth taking. Word of warning; don't take with taurine as they will compete for absorption which muddies the benefits of each amino acid. Personally, I'd avoid any supplements that contain both BA and taurine for this reason.

Creatine. DO NOT TAKE WITH TAURINE - competes for absorption thus lessening effects of both.

Awesome product - I compete as an “elite” athlete, and this supplement has really helped support my training and performance. I can train for longer, and recovery also noticeably improved. Would recommend. Side effects (pins and needles) only when I’m heavy handed on the dosage - absolutely no issues when taking the recommended amount.
