Cheap Energy

Mix this with dextrose for cheap energy drink- doesn't even taste sickly. Can clump slightly when mixing with water but not a problem.

Carbs

Good product to hit macros. I normally mix with a protein shake after or during a workout I find it adds an almost syrupy texture to the drink and very sticky when on fingers.

Easy to drink

Bought this to help me meet my carbohydrate target for the day more easily, and for some energy during long workouts. It mixes very easily even with a small amount of water, and doesn't have a strong flavour, so it's very easy to drink. Just tastes like a mildly sweet, slightly viscous water. 1g of Maltodextrin = 1g of carbs so its very easy to use if you have exact macros you need to meet at the end of the day or something. Some people have complained about stomach upset with Maltodextrin, but I personally haven't experienced this with 100g per workout.

Great stuff

Does exactly what I wanted it to do... increasing my daily carb and calorie intake during the day while working a technical job..  can be added to shakes or a splash of juice.. mixes well, I find it completely tasteless witch is an added bonus..  also use before training sessions... can definitely the energy and pump/ muscle fullness  compared to not using it prior to a session!

Doesn't mix well with others

I was sadly disappointed with the dextrin, I mix it with my protein shake but it ends up very lumpy . Taste wise it is bland it doesn't even seem to have the sweetness you taste when I''ve used other dextrose products

Will make you a big poppa, if not a big poopa

Quick to get down carb source, taste is slightly sweet but not overly so. Combine with protein powder to make your own much cheaper gainer shakes. I recommend blending for mixing purposes as just shaking will leave lumps. ***Digestibility: I would not recommend going above 1g/kg bodyweight per serving or else.. let's just say it comes out quite urgently... This is noted in the literature as well. I am a larger person, 110kg/6'4 and personally found my limit to be around 0.8-0.9g/kg. Below this threshold I was mostly fine, but the limit was quite abrupt and it goes from plain sailing to OH BIG POPPA HE COMIN' real quick.

Simple and Effective

I add this as an extra carb hit to my recovery shake after a long endurance workout. Very mild sweet taste so it blends well with pretty much any flavour of whey

Great for carbs on the bike...

I add to squash for when out on a long bike ride. Add to a half full bottle, shake vigorously, top up. Works a treat and if sipped regularly throughout a ride keeps me going. Mix with Impact Whey Protein for a great recovery drink (much cheaper than High5 or SiS recovery drinks). The 2.5 kg bag is massive and if you spill a bit when dispensing - I do this a lot when nearing the bottom of the bag - the powder goes sticky very quickly. Doesn't taste sweet - it's not sugar!
