What are Hurricane XS Bars?
Hurricane XS contains a number of essential ingredients to create one great-tasting protein bar.
Each 70g bar provides up to 28g of premium protein with only 23g of carbohydrates (depending on flavour). The high protein content will contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. The added 5g of creatine monohydrate (Creapure®) will increase physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise.

1. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
2. Creatine is proven to increase physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3g of creatine.
3. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
Consume as a high protein snack as and when required.

Very chewy
The taste is good..intense chocolate flavour The consistency is a bit too thick and chewy but I think is the price you pay for the high protein content

I’ve had a variety of protein bars in my time and I wouldn’t recommend buying this one. Tastes very very sweet and has a tangy string taste. Texture is a little chewie - possibily due to the creatine. I ended up getting the box but should’ve bought one to taste beforehand. Hopefully I can return the rest or get an exchange as they will just be thrown. On a positive it has high protein and 5G creatine for sports performance.

It tastes quite nice however you can taste the protein. Its hard to describe- almost grainy. Good fuel after a workout though and very filling. Gives a lot of energy.

A great substitute in place of typical non-protein chocolate bars as it's not too dense, and has enough moisture and the right texture, and most importantly, has a great taste.

This is a great snack following a workout as it is so Handy to have and is extremely filling for its size. I have gotten this a few times as it has such a high amount of protein and is the best protein bar which I have tried.

Great nutritionally, but the taste of the chocolate orange bar is very artificial. I couldn’t eat these on a long term basis, in fact after the first one I’ll be donating them to my ex.
