Golden syrup pancakes are delish!
First time trying these pancakes. Made about 10 mini pancakes which were better tasting warm than cold. There’s a definite syrup flavour but the actual pancake was quite flat and dry tasting when cooked not fluffy and light like I usually make. I added a drizzle of maple syrup and a handful of blueberries to add some moisture to the pancakes. I will definitely make again but will try some fat free Greek yogurt on the next batch or some low fat squirty cream. Would recommend adding some fruit. I bought the smallest packet but will possibly buy a different flavour next time.

The flavor and macros

Flat rubber
I had high hopes for these. Having tried another brand’s protein pancake mix, I was expecting similar or better. Unfortunately, these are worse. When cooked, they end up flat with a texture like rubber. The flavour is not bad, but overall I’ve had way better. I’ll get through the bag of maple I have and then go back to my usual brand. It’s a shame as I would prefer to get all my protein from one company. I guess I’ll continue with multiple orders from different suppliers.

Unflavoured Pancakes
After loving the vegan pancake mix was very upset to see they are no longer sold. I found these after searching the website and thought I would give this one a try. However, after trying for the first time they are very far apart from each other. These pancakes are very flat, rubbery and nothing like the vegan protein pancakes. Will not be purchasing these again.

Would only recommend these if you enjoy chewing on things that have the same texture of polystyrene - I couldn’t even swallow a mouthful! I have had protein pancakes before that have been brilliant, but this mix is just horrific. Even the strawberries and maple syrup on top couldn’t salvage these. If you actually like flavour and food, don’t buy this mix!

Disgusting
Absolutely awful. The texture is really rubbery, the mix is lumpy and it has a very artificial taste. I bought the golden syrup flavour so was obviously expecting it to be sweet but they are ridiculously sweet and very artificial.
